I have a question I hope you can answer. My mother passed away recently. My family and I bought flowers for the funeral home. I received a thank you card from my sister (Power of Attorney). She addressed to me, my boyfriend (who does not live with me), my daughter and her two children (who do not live with me), and to my other two other adult children (who do not live with me).
Should my sister have sent a thank you note to those of us who are family? Since my boyfriend is not a family member, should he have received his own card at his residence? I felt I was not a family member when I saw how the card was signed. Am I too sensitive about this? Thank you in advance for your answer.
